Ribbon Cutting

You are invited to join us on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at 5:30pm for a ribbon cutting dedication ceremony! In partnership with Metropolitan Energy Center, the City of Osawatomie was part of a consortium of municipalities and businesses in the Kansas City area that was awarded $5.2million from the Department of Energy for electric vehicle integration and charging station installations. The City of Osawatomie will be installing up to 20 charging stations across the community as part of this grant award, and the first location has already been picked. Please join us at the intersection of 5th and Main Streets to dedicate this incredible sustainable initiative!
