Streets

The Public Works Department is responsible for regular maintenance of streets and alleys within the City of Osawatomie.

Alleys

Alley maintenance, including grading and drainage repair, is a routine part of the Public Works calendar monitored through resident reports and from reports from city crews.

Paved Streets

The City of Osawatomie has dozens of lane-miles of paved roadway to maintain. Public Works is responsible for that maintenance, including the complete reconstruction of blocks or mill / overlay projects. Crews routinely patch potholes and seal cracks between major repair projects, and new potholes or nuisance cracks can be submitted to the team through our TextMyGov resident reporting program.
