Yard Waste Pick-Up Program
The City of Osawatomie Public Works Department offers free curbside yard waste collection twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, to help residents with seasonal yard clean-up. This service is available to residential customers inside city limits and is separate from regular trash collection.
Registration is required to participate, and limits apply to the size and quantity of yard waste set out for pick-up. The 2026 spring collection week will be the week of April 20th, 2026.
During the collection week, crews will work through the city by ward on the following schedule:
| Day | Ward |
|---|---|
| Monday | Ward 1 |
| Tuesday | Ward 2 |
| Wednesday | Ward 3 |
| Thursday | Ward 4 |
| Friday | Weather delay or make-up day only |
Not sure which ward you live in? View the ward map here.
