Power Outage Due to Lost Interconnect

As of 6:15pm, power should be restored to the community. Our crews will stay active throughout the evening as weather remains in the area.
If you are still without power, please report your outage through TextMyGov by texting "HELLO" to 913-557-8777 and following the prompts to submit your information.

We lost the interconnect with Evergy, which has caused a city-wide power outage. This is not an internal distribution issue.
Crews have already been dispatched and will continue to work as long as it is safe for them to do so.
