Pacific Ave Intersection Opening

City of Osawatomie officials have announced that the intersection of 6th Street and Pacific Avenue will be reopened to east/west traffic today, September 23, 2024, following a successful rebuild as part of the total reconstruction of 6th Street. Once the Pacific Avenue intersection is open, contractors will close the Brown Avenue intersection to east/west traffic and begin the demolition process for its rebuild.

During construction, the entirety of 6th Street from Lincoln Avenue to Kelly Avenue is a 15mph work zone and is limited to southbound traffic only. Please obey all posted traffic signs and never move or drive around road closed barricades.
