Announced earlier this year, the City of Osawatomie is excited to be moving forward with the development of a new clubhouse and event center at the Osawatomie Golf Course, marking a major investment in one of the community’s most well-used recreational assets. The new facility is currently estimated at $3.5 million and will be funded through golf course revenues, with support from external grant dollars.

The new clubhouse and event center will replace the existing clubhouse, portions of which are nearing 100 years old. The existing facility no longer meets modern building codes or accessibility standards and was never designed for today's demand of approximately 17,000 rounds of golf annually. The new facility will be designed to meet current needs and future growth and serve a dual purpose as a lakeside event center, and will feature an upgraded kitchen, dining and banquet space, new restrooms, an expanded pro shop, offices, storage areas, and a new cart storage shed. Construction is hoped to begin in mid to late summer 2026, with completion anticipated by late spring 2027, pending final approvals and grant conditions.

To help the community better envision the project, a 3D rendering video is available from our project team. The video offers a preview of the layout, features, and overall design of the new facility.
