Northland Water Project Temporarily Impacting Neighborhoods

City of Osawatomie utility officials have announced a temporary impact to portions of Osawatomie's water distribution network for today, Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. A planned water line project in Osawatomie's "Northland" area has experienced complications and requires crews to expand the impacted service area to nearby neighborhoods.

Beginning this morning, lower than normal water pressure to no water at all is possible for services located between Carr Avenue and Main Street from 1st Street and 6th Street. This interruption is estimated to last between four and six hours.
