A minor derailment within the boundaries of Osawatomie has caused a train to stall and block all railroad intersections in Osawatomie and north to 327th Street. The derailment involved a single engine, and no load spillage or leak was reported.

At this time, it is unknown how quickly the railroad will be able to correct the situation and clear any crossings.

The Derrick Jensen Overpass is still available for regular motor-vehicle traffic.
