Miami County Appraiser's Office Begins Reinspections

Please see the following announcement from our government partners in the Miami County Appraiser's Office.

"Miami County Appraiser’s Office will begin our annual Parcel Maintenance Reinspection in Osawatomie on May 27,2025.

Per KSA 79-1476 and PVD Directive #11-043, every parcel of real property shall be actually viewed and inspected by the county appraiser once every 6 years.

This year our reinspection area includes the City of Osawatomie. Our staff will be out in neighborhoods gathering updated property data. The reinspection process is the best time for our office to gather the most up-to-date information about your property. During the reinspection process, our staff will be knocking on doors and asking questions about your property to verify our current property data. They will also be taking measurements and pictures of the property.

Our staff will be onsite between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. They will all be wearing a Miami County Appraiser’s Office shirt and Identification badge and will be in marked Miami County Vehicles. If no one is at the door when they stop by, they will leave a notification note that we were on the property.
