Location Change and Public Participation Update for Upcoming Meeting of Osawatomie City Council

City of Osawatomie officials have announced a special presentation and Q+A with Alcove Development and its team at the upcoming meeting of Osawatomie City Council on June 25th, 2026. To help facilitate a productive meeting and discussion with the community, please note the following changes to regular meeting logistics:

• The meeting location has changed to the gymnasium at Osawatomie Middle School (428 Pacific Avenue). Please use the Brown Avenue entrance for direct access to the gymnasium.
• To allow more residents the opportunity to speak to the governing body, public comments at this meeting will be limited to 3 minutes and speakers must sign up in advance. Speakers will be called up individually by the Mayor. Though priority will be given to Osawatomie residents, all are welcome to sign up and speak as time allows. To sign up to speak during the public comment section, please email your name and address to [email protected] by 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026.
• Questions for the development team must be submitted prior to the meeting by emailing your name, address, and question to [email protected] by 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. Submitted questions will be organized by category and provided to both the development team and the Mayor, and will be read aloud during the Q+A portion by either the Mayor or another member of the governing body.
