A Regular Part of Electric Distribution Maintenance

Beginning October 10th, 2022, the City of Osawatomie Utilities Department will be performing annual tree trimming maintenance in the right-of-way and within easements. Crews will be removing limbs and other overgrowth out of power lines, a process which will take approximately one month to complete.

The annual tree trimming program is done in an effort to maintain a reliable electric distribution system and to mitigate risk of fire or other electric damages. Thank you for your patience as our crews perform this critical work!
