Charging Forward: Community Forum (#1)

The City of Osawatomie is hosting its first Community Forum as part of "Osawatomie: Charging Forward," our campaign toward a more efficient, sustainable future. Charging Forward is the home for our recently announced $5.2 million Electric Vehicle (EV) and Electric Vehicle Charging Station grant that we received in partnership with Metropolitan Energy Center and seven other entities. The City of Osawatomie is excited to begin breaking ground on charging station locations around the community and other EV initiatives.
The forum will feature short presentations by City staff members and representatives from Metropolitan Energy Center before opening the floor to questions from the public. This is a come-and-go forum designed to answer YOUR questions and allow you to learn more about the exciting developments happening within our community and give your feedback.
The Community Forum precedes our Flint Hills Trail celebration happening at the Mile Zero Trailhead (1400 South Street).
