Water Service Contractor to Begin Work on Brown Avenue

UPDATE 10/2/2023 - 8:34am | As this work continues today (October 2), additional nearby neighborhoods may experience lower than normal water pressure through the lunch hour. Impacted blocks now include the 400 block of 9th Street and the 900 block of Main Street.

As part of the ongoing reconstruction of Brown Avenue between 7th Street and 12th Street, City of Osawatomie utility officials have announced that I-Solutions (a water service contractor) will be performing water service tie-ins to the City's water main along portions of Brown Avenue beginning Thursday, September 28th at 7:00am. This activity may cause lower than normal water pressure for residents within the area (see map below) while work is being performed. Tie-ins will continue Friday and next week as needed until all services are completed.
