Intersection Improvements - Road Closed

City of Osawatomie Public Works officials have announced the temporary closure of the intersection of 7th Street and Brown Avenue. As part of the neighborhood's planned full-depth reconstruction, the intersection was previously closed temporarily in mid-October to allow crews to remove the existing intersection and lay down a new rock base.This concrete work is the next step in the reconstruction process. The intersection is completely inaccessible at this time and will be for several days while the concrete cures. Please DO NOT move or drive around/through the posted barricades and protective fencing. If the concrete is disturbed before it is able to fully cure, the intersection may need to be removed and re-poured which will significantly delay Brown Avenue's substantial completion.
