Brush Pile Burn Scheduled

The City of Osawatomie Public Works Department will be implementing a controlled burn of the Forestry Disposal Site on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. Brush pile burns are a regular part of site maintenance and staff will be monitoring the burn on-site until the work is finished and the burn is concluded.

New material drop-off will not be permitted until the burn is completed and staff has reopened safe access to the site. This could take two to three days depending on volume of existing material and weather.
