Brightspeed Breaks Ground in Osawatomie

After many months of preparation, CenturyLink is now officially operating as Brightspeed and is looking forward to deploying fiber in many new communities across Kansas, including Osawatomie.

From Brightspeed:

"Brightspeed plans to bring fiber to over 1800 locations in 2023 to Osawatomie. As of April 24th, 2023, preconstruction activities are currently underway and Brightspeed anticipates beginning physical construction of fiber deployment using a combination of aerial and buried facilities. Additionally, the project and engineering teams for this project have been identified, and they will be driving the fiber route over the next few weeks to finalize engineering plans.Please find the attached one-page project overview for your informational needs. It includes a brief map as well as Brightspeed contact information for key construction activities. Additional details can be provided once the final engineering plans have been finalized."
