Event Date:
Friday, May 10, 2024 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

The City of Osawatomie Arts Commission is hosting a family craft fundraiser on Friday, May 10th, 2024, inside City Auditorium at 6:00pm. Proceeds from the event will go toward future Arts Commission programming, including finishing the popular "wing wall" levee murals at 6th and 8th Streets.

May's fundraiser is fingerprint flower pots! Perfect for gifting to moms, dads, or grands, this toddler-friendly craft is a fun activity for families of all sizes and types. Using fingers (or tiny toes), families will decorate 3"-5" terracotta pots. Registration is $10 and includes the first pot, a "Watch Me Grow" plant pick, and all the paint, brushes, and paint pens for detailing the fingerprints into bugs, flowers, or other springtime designs. Additional pots are $5 each. Families are welcome to decorate as many pots as they wish! Plants and soil are not included at this time.

Pre-registration is required to ensure adequate supplies! Registration deadline is May 8th, 2024.
