Regular Events

Baby & Toddler Storytime

We offer early literacy storytimes twice weekly for kids aged birth to five (5) and their guardians! Join us on Tuesdays at 1:00pm or Fridays at 10:00am for baby- and toddler-friendly storytime with Miss Katie. Storytimes include reading stories out loud, singing, dancing, and lots of fun. Each storytime is followed by an age-appropriate skills "lab" that focuses on either art, cooking, or technology. Federal holidays may impact our regular schedule, so please be sure to check our calendar or call us at 913-755-2136 on holiday weeks.

Adult "Third Thursday" Craft/DIY

Monthly craft nights are a great way to get out of the house, make friends, and enjoy a low-stress evening at the Library. Crafts/DIYs range from totally free to just $10, and usually require no skill or previous experience. Themed events around the holidays are especially popular, so make sure you keep us on your calendars and pay attention to any registration requirements. Many of our adult programs are limited experiences, and pre-registration is often required to hold your seat. CLICK HERE for more information on this month's event!
