Flushable Wipes? Say “No Thank You!”
Our pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities are having issues with wipes and other material clogging our equipment. Please help our team and follow this very simple guidance:
DO NOT flush cloth or other non-paper material down the toilet.
And, of course, cloth of any kind (like t-shirts, rags, and socks) should NEVER be flushed. Flushing these products could lead to costly problems with your home’s plumbing and cause backups โ and it could also cause large-scale problems in the Cityโs wastewater infrastructure.
