City Wide Garage Sale has been set for June 12th and 13th, 2021! Sponsored by Osawatomie PIE, this community event helps raise money for local schools. Read on for complete information!

Please complete the form linked at the bottom and mail or deliver with payment to

Partners In Education
c/o Rachael Giles
404 12th Street
Osawatomie, KS 66064.

To be included in the sale listings for June 11th, registration forms must be received by Wednesday, June 9th. Checks should be made out to “Partners In Education.” The information provided (except phone number) will be attached to the 2021 flier, which includes listings by street address and basic map. Please list the address where the sale is located. Be sure to include special directions to your sale if you live outside the Osawatomie city limits.

You may pick up a flag at the City Auditorium on Friday, June 11, between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm to place in your yard during your garage sale. Flags will identify you as a participant in the citywide sales.

This year’s sale is sponsored by Partners In Education, the local nonprofit parent-teacher organization. By participating, you are helping to support Osawatomie schools. Local youth groups also help run the sale and earn a percentage of the event’s proceeds.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES FOR LEFTOVERS

Those who have registered their sales may donate leftover sale items between noon and 4 p.m. Saturday, June 12th by bringing them to the City Auditorium.

(Sorry, but we no longer accept any sale-day leftovers from those who have not paid to register. If you would like to contribute items ahead of time, please see the donation guidelines on the front and the list of items not accepted.)

NOT ACCEPTED

Broken/non working household items, furniture, unusable clothing, tires, construction waste, paint, chemicals, batteries, weapons, large appliances

DROP-OFF DEADLINE

All leftover items must be dropped off by 4 p.m. so volunteers can get everything sorted and put out for the Sunday sale. Items dropped off after the deadline may be refused, or the person dropping off late items may be asked to stay and put them out.

NO RAIN DATE

Please note that due to the number of people involved in making this weekend a success, there is no way to provide a rain date for garage sale participants.
