The Governing Body for the City of Osawatomie will be hosting a joint meeting with USD #367 Board of Education members on Monday, June 14th, at Osawatomie High School. No action items for the City of Osawatomie will be entertained. This meeting is an opportunity for both parties to discuss mutually beneficial plans and ideas for the upcoming year, and to create a better partnership.

The meeting is open to the public and school staff will be assisting with the online audio broadcast for interested parties.

City Council Meeting Location Change

The regularly scheduled meeting of Osawatomie City Council has been moved to the City Auditorium for May 27th, 2021. Due to inclement weather and heavy morning rain, the Council will no longer be meeting at the Mile Zero Trailhead for the Flint Hills Trail to celebrate the achievements of the Trail Task Force.

Task Force members will instead be recognized during the meeting inside the Auditorium, and will share a celebratory meal with members of the Governing Body ahead of the regular Council meeting.

Mayor Mark Govea will call the regular meeting to order at 6:30pm.
