City-Wide Clean Up Day was Saturday, May 14th, and we had another great year of collections. City-Wide is meant for irregular or bulky items, or for getting rid of accumulated "junk" from throughout the year. Our second City-Wide Clean Up Day for 2022 is scheduled for October 15th and a special Tire Collection Day is on the books for June 23rd. Check out the calendar for the full schedule of service!

The City of Osawatomie is partnering with the Osawatomie Public Library to sponsor a Stock the Shelves dry-goods drive for the Oz Food Pantry!
This drive is asking specifically for personal care and hygiene items, but all donations are welcome and appreciated! Drop-Off locations include City Hall lobbies or the Library, and donation tubs will be available until May 31st.
The Osawatomie Public Library is back at it with another fantastic Alumni Fundraiser Breakfast on Saturday, May 28th, 2022.

This year, the Board of Directors is shaking things up and offering a BISCUITS AND GRAVY platter prepared by Oz Creek!

Tickets are just $10 each and available NOW -- stop by the Library and get yours today!

TextMyGov Resident Support

This text-based software allows residents to search information, ask questions, or report issues in the community directly from their phone's regular messaging app. Text the words "Hi," "Hello," or "Hey" to 913-557-8777 to check out the program. We'll be making continuous updates to the prompts and flows as we learn more about the community's needs and preferences, so don't be discouraged if something isn't in place just yet -- we're working on it!
Residents interested in receiving text notifications from the City can text "OZGENERAL" to 91896 for general alerts or "OZALERTS" to 91896 for emergency alerts!
While we continue work on the new website, certain functions may be unavailable. Please call us at 913-755-2146 and we'd be glad to help you access the information you need.
