Coming Up at City Council

Recent business includes the proposed amendment to City Code to allow certain fowl (chickens) within the city limits. At the request of a resident at the November 12th (2020) meeting, Building Official Ed Beaudry drafted a proposed amendment and presented it to City Council on December 10th. Council requested time to review the proposal, and then gave feedback at the January 14th (2021) meeting.

A final version of the proposed amendment will be presented at the February 11th meeting. Council will then vote on the measure.

Trail Work Continues

A design for a trail waystation and informational kiosk has been approved, and will begin construction soon. Other trailhead facilities, such as a restroom and bike repair station, will also be installed this spring/summer.
