The City of Osawatomie is "soft launching" a new communication tool today: TextMyGov! This text-based software allows residents to search information, ask questions, or report issues in the community directly from their phone's regular messaging app. No internet connection required! Over the next few weeks we'll also be debuting emergency alert and general alert subscription options. Text the words "Hi," "Hello," or "Hey" to 913-557-8777 to check out the program. We'll be making continuous updates to the prompts and flows as we learn more about the community's needs and preferences, so don't be discouraged if something isn't in place just yet -- we're working on it!

You're Invited!
|
We invite the public to join us on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at 6:00pm for a dedication ceremony celebrating the hard work of Eagle Scout candidate Chase Homrighausen. Chase has spent many, MANY hours this year working to develop a complete directory for burials at Osawatomie Cemetery! This was an enormous project, but the impact will last for generations to come and we are so grateful for his hard work and dedication.
