New Library Hours!

The Osawatomie Public Library has announced new operating hours for 2022 to better serve patrons. All services will be available from 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday hours are now extended from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Now is a great time to get reacquainted with our stellar public library.
At the December 30th, 2021, Special Meeting of Osawatomie City Council, we honored outgoing Osawatomie Mayor Mark Govea for his dedicated years of service to the community. Mr. Govea was presented a plaque and proclamation from County Commissioners Rob Roberts and George Pretz, and a special plaque and gavel from the City of Osawatomie. Thank you for your service, Mr. Govea!

Our friends at Waste Management want to remind everyone about holiday recycling and trash collection -- recycle cardboard wrapping paper tubes, basic tissue paper, and flattened cardboard boxes.
