Christmas festivities are in full swing in Osawatomie and the Osawatomie Public Library jumped on the opportunity to reinvigorate the Holiday Homes Tour! Tickets are just FIVE DOLLARS (available at the Library) and you get to tour the inside of five beautifully decorated properties around Osawatomie, plus a cookie, cocoa, and gingerbread bar pitstop at the Library!
Mike is back this week with a great wrap up of current City happenings, including our Employee of the Year highlights. He also teases what's coming next for Osawatomie, redevelopment, and the year 2022.

We're giving away $50 in Chamber Bucks to every 50th subscriber to our newsletter! And every week from now until the end of the year, we're giving away $10 in Chamber Bucks to a random subscriber -- just to say thanks. Chamber Bucks can be used just like cash at any local Chamber of Commerce member business. Use them to buy food, personal services, drinks, snacks, gifts and more! Want to be our next big winner? Make sure you check your inbox after signing up to confirm your subscription! Only confirmed subscribers are eligible for the giveaway.
This text-based software allows residents to search information, ask questions, or report issues in the community directly from their phone's regular messaging app. Text the words "Hi," "Hello," or "Hey" to 913-557-8777 to check out the program. We'll be making continuous updates to the prompts and flows as we learn more about the community's needs and preferences, so don't be discouraged if something isn't in place just yet -- we're working on it!
Looking for a way to give back to the community? Consider donating to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund! This fund is 100% donation based and benefits a number of local charities, charitable missions, and local fundraisers. Send a check to PO Box 37 (Osawatomie) or drop it off at City Hall. We work with the Mayor's Office to make sure all donations do the most amount of good.
